Our 7-member Board of Directors is comprised of volunteers who share in the same passion, vision, and enthusiasm to help others in our communities thrive and survive in these hard times.
Minister Rosemarie Michele Green
Founder & CEO
Rosemarie ‘Michele’ Green is a mother of 3 daughters and a grandmother of 5 living in Durham, NC. A native of Brooklyn, New York, she found Christ at 15 and became an Ordained Minister in February, 2020. Later, in the midst of the pandemic in May 2020, God called her to begin a Bible Study focusing on the Women of the Bible, and Sisters In The Word Bible Study was born! In August, 2024, she obeyed God and began a Non-Profit with 6 of her Bible Study Sisters to help those who are abused, homeless, or less fortunate with basic necessities in our own communities, My favorite scripture is Philippians 4:13, “I can do all things through Christ, Who strengthens me.”
Jennifer Riley
Vice President & Director
Sister Jennifer Riley is a widow and has 11 children and is also a grandmother of 19 and 3 great-grandmother. She was born in Donaldsonville, Louisiana, and currently resides in Reedley, California. She was employed as an Environmental Service Attendant, and is now retired. She loves the Lord, and is a founding member of Sisters In The Word Bible Study Group. Her heart is very big and loves to serve the homeless and less fortunate, and has already hosted several events feeding the homeless. She now serves as the Vice President of our Non-Profit Organization. One of her favorite scriptures in the Bible is Psalms 23 and the poem ‘Footprints In The Sand”.
Jacqueline Ottley
Secretary
Jacqueline Ottley was born in Brooklyn, New York and found Christ at a very young age. She has worked in the banking field for over 20 years, and has served in several capacities in the church, such as pastor’s Aid Committee, Christian Women’s Fellowship, & Church Secretary, and is currently serving as Secretary of our Bible Study Group and Non-Profit Organization. She is also directly involved with Fueled By Hope Evangelistic Ministry, Inc., Exhaling in God’s Arms Ministry, Mindful Mondays, and Tabernacle Holiness Church in Riegelwood, NC. She also serves in her Music Ministry to all of the above. She loves the Lord, and has vowed to serve Him for the rest of her life.
Judy Wood
Treasurer
Sister Judy Wood was born and raised in Detroit, Michigan and is the 8th of 14 children. She is also the mother of 7 children, grandmother of 20 children, and great-grandmother of 2 children. Sister Judy has been in the nursing field for over 45 years, loves the Lord, and is very active in ministry. She is the Lead Researcher for Sisters In The Word Bible Study, is the Sargent At Arms for both Sisters in the Word and Fueled By Hope Evangelistic Ministry. She currently serves as the Treasurer on our Board of Directors.
Charlene Riley-Perez
Assistant Treasurer
Sister Charlene Riley-Perez is married and has 4 children and 3 grandchildren. She was born in Los Angeles, California and currently resides in Savannah, GA. She loves the Lord, and joined Sisters In The Word Bible Study in September, 2023 and is also a member of Overcoming By Faith Church in Savannah, Georgia, and our sister ministry, Fueled By Hope Evangelistic Ministry, Inc. of Perris, California. She currently serves as Assistant Treasurer of Sisters in the Word Bible Study Ministry Inc. and is very active in service to Christ. Her favorite scripture is Hebrews 4:12-13.
Ranada Wood-Arnold
Assistant Secretary
Mrs. Wood-Arnold is married with 5 children and 2 grandchildren. She joined Sisters In The Word Bible Study on January 12, 2022, and is a Prayer Warrior not only for this ministry, but also for Fueled By Hope Evangelistic Ministry, Inc. She is not only our Assistant Treasurer, but also an Events Coordinator. She loves the Lord, and her favorite scripture is Philippians 4:6-7. She is looking forward to having her own ministry that teaches young people about the Bible.
Lillian ‘Mother Lily’ Wright
Chaplain / Spiritual Advisor
Mrs. Lillian ‘Mother Lily’ Wright has been married for 43 years and has four children with her husband Jerome. She loves the Lord, and is our official Spiritual Advisor and Guide as we decide our direction and focus on our giving to our various charities and communities. She is also directly involved with Fueled By Hope Evangelistic Ministry, Inc., Exhaling in God’s Arms, and Mindful Mondays, they all affectionately call her ‘Mother Lily’. She is an Overcomer of Breast Cancer for over 24 years, and her favorite scripture is Psalms 27.

The Homeless
We seek to provide the necessities of life for the homeless; food, clothing, water, spiritual guidance, and love!
The Abused
With the love of Jesus, we seek to help women, children, men, and the elderly caught in the cycle of abuse with resources to help them break this cycle.
The Less Fortunate
Working in our own backyards, we support causes which help cancer victims, veterans, the poor, mental illness, the elderly, etc.
